DAY 1
12 noon coach departs from Athy and Ballitore for Dublin airport. 2pm check in at Dublin airport for Aer
Lingus flight to Munich departing at 16.50, arriving at 20:10. Transfer to hotel for 2 nights D/B/B.
DAY 1
Option of coach, 12 noon coach departs from Athy and Ballitore for Dublin Airport or meet at Dublin Airport.
2pm check in at Dublin airport for Aer Lingus flight to Munich departing at 16.50, arriving at 20:10.
Transfer to hotel for 2 nights Diner Bed and Breakfast.
DAY 2
Morning panoramic tour of Munich includes: Cathedral, St Peters Church, Town Hall, Bavarian State
Opera house, Hofbrauhaus, Ruhmeshalle, Olympic Stadium etc. Drive to Alotting to visit the famous
Chapel of Mercy. Afternoon trip to Dachau. Visit the Nazi German concentration camp where we
remember “mans inhumanity to man”.
DAY 3
Drive to Oberammergau with free time to stroll around the small town. Lunch. Afternoon and
evening, attend the world famous Passion Play. Over 2000 participants bring the story of Jesus of
Nazareth to the audience in a 5 hour presentation on an open air stage. The play covers the period
of Jesus entering Jerusalem and continues to His death on the Cross and Resurrection. Dinner and
overnight in the Oberammergau district.
DAY 4
Drive to Vienna and check into hotel for 3 nights D/B/B.
DAY 5 and 6
In Vienna see St Stephens Cathedral, Imperial Palace, State Opera House, Schonbrunn Palace,
National Theatre, City Hall, St Ruperts church, Parliament and Athena Fountain, Stephansplatz and
the Sisi Museum. We also enjoy a Strauss concert evening during your stay.
DAY 7
Morning drive to Salzburg. See the great Fortress, Cathedral, Mozart Square, Mozarts birthplace
and Leopoldskron Palace (Sound of Music). Check into hotel for 1 night D/B/B.
DAY 8
Morning optional visit to Eagles Nest with magnificent views. Free time. Afternoon drive to Munich Airport for our return Aer Lingus flight to Dublin, departing at 20.55 and arriving at 22.20. Option for you to join coach returning to Ballitore and Athy.
