Titan HiTours has launched its new 2011 Elegant River Cruises brochure (0800 988 5867 www.titanhitours.co.uk/rivercruises ) with a fresh new look. Working in conjunction with Uniworld, who are one of the world’s most respected, award winning river cruise operators, the new 104 page brochure features two brand new ships and three enticing new itineraries on some of the finest river journeys through Europe, Egypt and Russia.

The first new ship is the River Antoinette which will sail the 8 day ‘Castles Along the Rhine’ itinerary on selected dates from March to November 2011. The Antoinette will have large and lavishing appointed river view cabins and suites capable of carrying up to 164 passengers on three decks.

Cabins on the Princess Deck will have full open air balconies that with the touch of a switch will raise a glass window to create a completely enclosed conservatory during cooler weather. On the Duchess deck, cabins will have floor to ceiling windows which can be electronically lowered. Other facilities will include a heated swimming pool, fitness room and sky lounge on the sun deck with life size chess and shuffleboard.

The second new ship is the Douro Spirit which will commence cruises along Portugal’s UNESCO World Heritage Douro Valley from April 2011 as part of the 10 day ‘Lisbon & the Beautiful Douro River’ or 8 day ‘ Week on the River Douro’ itinerary. The Douro is one of Elegant River Cruises fastest growing destinations and the boutique style river vessel will be the most modern ship on the Douro with accommodation for a maximum of 128 guests. Every river-view cabin and suite will feature a French balcony, so guests can get closer than ever to the breathtaking scenery of the region’s unspoiled natural landscape.

In each cabin comfy hotel style beds will be draped in fine linens and bathrooms will be stocked with L’Occitane bath and body products and cosy waffle bathrobes. The sun deck will have a Jacuzzi and small swimming pool and the ship will also feature a fitness room, a massage room and beauty salon with open seating in the elegant restaurant.

On the Russian waterways the renovated and reconstructed ‘River Victoria’ will feature in the 13 day ‘Imperial Waterways of Russia’ itinerary. This is all part of Uniworld’s ongoing work between 2009 and 2011 to remodel its entire fleet.
